CERTIFICATION & SUSTAINABILITY
Gusto Basisprodukte für Nahrungsmittel GmbH & Co. KG is constantly committed to fulfillment of EU regulations and maintenance of the highest possible certifications on an international level.
To ensure acceptance and customer satisfaction also for the future, we introduced a quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 in 1995. This standard was changed in 2003 to the new DIN EN ISO 9001: 2000 and in 2009 to the current version of DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008.
For years, we have been certified to the International Featured Standard Food (IFS Food Standard) to ensure the quality requirements of industry and trade and to comply with applicable legislation. Its specifications and the requirements of further certificates (BIO, ValidIT) have been integrated into our quality management.
This complete control system guarantees the consistent quality of our products.
For us, sustainability is the basis of a successful corporate strategy.
We will continue to work on new solutions along the value chain.
In Germany, we can integrate transport and secondary packaging in the reusable material process in our process flow.
Others are forwarded to recycling.
Business Social Compliance Initiative
In addition to the standard certificates of origin available, we attach importance to compliance with the BSCI Code of Conduct and socially responsible conditions at our upstream suppliers.
Through optimisation measures in the field of energy management, our company tries to keep energy consumption as low as possible. Not only cost optimisation to maintain competitiveness plays a part but also protection of existing resources.
